So far, spring in NYC has been downright drab and dreary. So can you blame a girl for needing a little retail therapy? To combat the gloomy forecast, I set out on a thrifting mission to find bright colors and cheery prints. My efforts were richly rewarded, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my finds. While I certainly enjoyed my previous black & white ensemble, I decided to take things in a completely different direction for the weekend. I sniped this cheery, colorful frock on eBay this past winter, and was so excited that I finally got a chance to wear it. I’d normally pair a dress this length with sky-high heels, but I wanted a more relaxed, bohemian vibe so I slid into a pair of suede gladiator sandals and my trusty jean jacket that I’ve had for yeeeaaaarrrsss. I’ve actually been looking for a slightly more cropped replacement for a couple of months now, but I haven’t come across one that’s tickled my fancy.
