So far, spring in NYC has been downright drab and dreary.  So can you blame a girl for needing a little retail therapy?  To combat the gloomy forecast, I set out on a thrifting mission to find bright colors and cheery prints.  My efforts were richly rewarded, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my finds.  Stay tuned for pics of how I style up my new wardrobe additions!

omg those are so beautiful! thrifting is way better than any other shopping- it’s so cheap it’s virtually guilt free and the hunt is always so rewarding!

Beautiful.  I didn’t get into thrifting until I started reading fashion blogs.  I don’t live in NYC so don’t get some of the great bargains like you do but did get a brand new Talbot’s blouse with the price tag still on it ($134) for $10.00 the other day.

I was the same way. My husband used to thrift all the time, and now I see why. Thrifting in NYC tends to be a lot more expensive than in other cities, but there is a great selection. You should also try eBay for second-hand goods. I’ve scored some GREAT finds that way!

Oh my goodness, these are some great pieces, both in terms of (great) quality – (low) price relationship as well as the cuteness factor. Bright colors, florals – these are just the things I’m craving for spring!
