{H&M Dress and Clutch, Guess Pumps via Filene’s Basement}
This dress has been one of my go-to party outfits all summer long, and most recently I donned it for a girl’s night out on the town. I love the unexpected color-combo (not to mention the jumbo side pockets), and I decided to play up the color-blocked effect with bright yellow pumps. Talk about walking on sunshine! I couldn’t help but happily bounce around all evening in such a cheery ensemble.

If you’ve been following along, you’ve probably noticed that I’m pretty much a skirts and dresses kinda gal. However, even I couldn’t pass up these pink lacy trousers (bonus points for the gold zippers at the ankle)! Also, who knew that Miss America had a shoe line? I admit that I was a bit skeptical when I heard about the brand, but these sandals were too adorable to ignore (the $50% off in-store clearance sale didn’t help either). And the best part is that the floral bow can be switched out for different fabric.

Out of sheer boredom, I painted my nails bright yellow this weekend. Once I was done, I immediately wanted to show them off. And I thought what better way than with this cheery yellow-accented frock. At first I paired my ensemble with those yellow shoes I wear all the time, but the look was too matchy-matchy (plus, I didn’t think those delicate heels could take a full afternoon of pavement pounding).
