When I got dressed that morning, I had no intention of looking like a cheerleader but that’s exactly what this outfit reminds me of…

We got really lucky in NYC, and the Juno snowstorm wound up only dumping a few inches of snow over the city.  Growing up in Michigan, I’m used to the type snowstorms that barricade you in the house and leave enough snow behind to cover up fire hydrants.  In any case, I never look a snow day in the mouth and was happy to go out and frolic in the white stuff once the sidewalks were salted and cleared.  I dug out my trusty Hunter boots and fleece socks, and off I went.

Before I sign off, I have to tell you guys about my new favorite thing: my beloved Cambridge Satchel East West ToteI’m incredibly indecisive when it comes to handbags, and I’d been on the hunt for a new tote that could comfortably accommodate my laptop and other boss-lady essentials as I run around town meeting with clients and hosting workshops. I knew I wanted something sturdy and structured, with minimal hardware and logos. I knew this bag was THE ONE as soon as I spotted it.  The only thing it’s missing is interior pockets, but I’m resolving that issue with a purse organizer. We’ll see how this bag holds up over time, but so far I’m quite pleased.
