Closet Raid: How I Organize My Baubles

I’ll be the first to admit that I have a weakness when it comes to accessories… and shoes… and dresses…

Over the years I’ve amassed a pretty sizeable collection, so I thought I’d take a moment to show you how I keep some of my favorites organized and on display.

Urban Outfitter Earring Stand

This nifty little ceramic tree keeps my favorite earrings within reach.

Bronze branches prevent my delicate necklaces from getting tangled.  In case you haven’t noticed, I have a thing for wildlife-inspired jewelry, especially birds, cats, feathers, and leaves.

Urban Outfitter Ring Holder

My precious silver kitty safeguards a few of my rings…

…while kissing bunnies take care of the rest.

As for my jewelry collection, I stock up on most of my trinkets at places like Forever 21 and H&M.  When I’m in the mood for something a bit more substantial, I’ll check out street vendors (there are some awesome hand-crafted wares in SoHo), flea markets, vintage stores, Henri Bendels and eBay.  All of the display stands you see here were purchased at Urban Outfitters.

Thanks! It also helps me remember what I have because it’s right there on display.

Great bauble displays/holders! I need something because I just have everything in boxes or traincases and they just go all tangled up. I have a plan for my earrings but I would like to do something else for my necklaces, bracelets, and headbands. You’ve given me some good ideas!

Glad I could help. Tangled necklaces are the pits.

Urban decay is really good for things like this! Thanks for sharing.

What a coincidence; I just did a post on my own jewelry organization minutes before reading yours. It’s far less fancy, I’m afraid… these jewelry holders are gorgeous, if I have more room one day I might invest in similar pieces!

I just checked out your post, and I used to do the exact same thing with my necklaces!

The great thing about how you organized them is that apart from being organized, they’re so beautifully displayed.
If you like wildlife trinkets, H&M has a great set of rings with a deer, owl and fox. Have you seen them?

I haven’t seen that set at H&M. I will have to check that out soon!

I love the wildlife theme to your jewelry organization! I have to admit that I have never been one to organize my jewelry, which is strange for such an organizational freak like myself. All too often I am untangling necklaces at the last minute. Thanks for the ideas!

You’re welcome. I used to be the same way, but then I got fed up trying to untangle my necklaces all of the time, lol.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll have to check them out.

Urban Outfitters is great for jewelry organizers, all of mine are from there! I’ve never seen the first one though. I might be logging on to the site to check for new styles in a minute!

Yeah, I checked them out recently and they have some great ones online.
