Closet Raid: 30 for 30 Round Two!

After much internal debate, I decided to go for a second round of Kendi Everyday’s 30 for 30 Challenge!  I was on the fence at first because it felt so soon after the last challenge, but I decided to go ahead and bite the bullet since I enjoyed the first one so much.

After spending the better part of this weekend selecting my 30 items and putting together potential outfits, I pooled them all together for your viewing pleasure below:

tops
{Topshop, Forever21, Michael Kors, Banana Republic, United Colors of Benetton, H&M, Uniqlo, J. Crew, Rugby}

30for30_jackets
{Rugby, H&M, H&M, Topshop}

30for30_pants
{Uniqlo, Forever 21, Forever 21}

30for30_skirts
{Forever 21, Club Monaco, Zara, Gap, Express}

30for30_dresses
{Gap, Rugby, Banana Republic, Vintage, H&M}

30for30_shoes
{BCBG, Vince Camuto, Thrifted, Vince Camuto}

I look forward to 3o days of sleeping in a little later than usual since all of my outfits are already picked out.  Feel free to drop me a line in the comment section if you’re taking part in the challenge too.

Happy Remixing!

    Oooh love everything you’ve chosen. Can’t wait to see how you put everything together. I’ll definitely take any tips you have as this is my first 30×30.

      Thanks! I’m pretty excited to get started. My biggest tip would be to plan your outfits in advance (plus a few extra) and even try them on if possible.

    Great pics for your remix! I plan on doing at as well, but the pregnancy edition. How do you post your options like that? I’m not sure how to present my 30 picks a.k.a. all the clothes that fit.

    • ClosetConfections January 31, 2011 at 2:17 pm

      Oooh, a pregnancy edition sounds like fun! I laid a white sheet out on my coffee table and photographed each piece on top of it separately. I then used the Quick Selection tool in Photoshop to crop out any noise. After that I just laid them out and added some borders and text. It took me a while to do, so if you’re looking for something quick and easy, you can check out my previous challenge round-up: https://closetconfections.com/2010/11/closet-raid-my-30-for-30-round-up/

        Thanks! I don’t have photoshop. (I can’t wait until I get a mac so I have better blogging tools.) I think I will try the quick and easy method. 🙂

        Happy Remixing!

    Brave girl! I considered the 30 x 30 but I was a little intimidated. I think that I would need access to my entire closet before I could take on such a challenge! You have some great picks here – can’t wait to see how you remix them!

    • ClosetConfections January 31, 2011 at 10:58 pm

      I’m not nearly as nervous the second time around since I know what to expect. Plus, I included several recent acquisitions which I think will prevent me from getting too bored.
