Just another day at the office…
Whenever I’m at a loss for what to wear to work, I often find myself resorting to a classic black and white ensemble. I even have all of my black and white dresses and bottoms placed together in one corner of my closet for easy access when I’m just too bleary-eyed and unmotivated to do much thinking. It’s pretty much fool-proof dressing. The key for making this look work in the summertime is to stick with sheer, lightweight pieces. Fun accents like my polka dot skirt and bow-front blouse also help inject a little personality into the ensemble and keep me from feeling like a corporate drone.

so lovely. i kind of miss getting dressed up for the office. my current situation is really laid back and trendy, but it’s kind of fun trying to stay cute and appropriate at the same time. you definitely have that down!
