This is a perfect example of Do As I Say, Not As I Blog. In this case, I’m referring to wearing high heels in the snow. Bad idea.
I was cleaning out my closet this weekend, and somehow it morphed into a game of dress up. As I was trying things on and deciding to what to keep and what to chuck, I put together this little outfit. I thought it was so gosh darn cute that I grabbed my camera and tripod and ran outside to snap a few pics.
And in case you were wondering…
No. I did not get frostbite. And yes. My neighbors do think I’m nuts.
What an adorable outfit. You already had me at you post title – I love love love Grease, the Pink Ladies and especially Rizzo! You really pull this off wonderfully and red is always so gorgeous on you.

I was actually fine until some snow got in my shoe. Luckily, I had my Uggs sitting off to the side waiting for me. 🙂

I saw that jacket at my local H&M store the other day! Actually I was so tempted to buy it but then I didn’t know how to style it…You did a great job here! I love the contrast of the jacket and the blouse.
I’ll tell you a secret: I kinda stole the idea from one of the mannequins in the store, lol.

OMG, the fact that you have on heels with no tights *I believe* IN SNOW…girl, you get a golden star…and if I could give you something better I would. Cute ‘fit too!

Thanks! I have not done any hair vids yet, but it’s something I’m contemplating. I’ve been transitioning for a little over a year and still have 2-4 inches of relaxed ends left throughout my head. This particular style is pretty simple. I just parted my hair down the middle, threw in a french braid on each side and tucked the ends under with a bobby pin.

It’s too bad I never got a letter jacket in high school, or else I’d totally recreate this chic outfit! In case you were wondering, I lettered in theater. Not kidding.
