Pretty much your standard workplace attire, but I think it’s the small details that make this outfit special and give it a slightly retro vibe.
Since I knew I’d be dashing to several meetings throughout the day, I wanted to wear something polished and not too fussy. Trust me when I say I was grateful for such a light-weight, breezy blouse and comfy heels as I hopped in and out of hot subway stations and braved the sticky summer heat.

Lovely blouse! The sleeves are so cute and fluttery. I strictly wear skirts most of the time and when it gets really hot, I try and pick out my lightest fabrics and anything I know won’t get tangled up in my legs and make me hot hah.

Like you said this is classic workplace attire, but it looks great how you put it together. I love the polka dot details, and patent leather is a nice touch instead of the normal flat leather. You look great.
I love this outfit for several reasons. #1 I love black and white, #2 I love polka dots and #3 it just looks really chic. Sometimes the simplest things are the most effective and you look great!
