A few weeks ago, I was out for an afternoon stroll when I stumbled upon a Catherine Malandrino sample sale. Picture throngs of women in various stages of undress clawing through racks of dresses and tops, each of them in search of that one perfect item in her size. Yep, it was a madhouse. But it was totally worth it, since I got to walk away with this pretty little frock for just $40!
Now if only I could’ve scored an invitation to Diddy’s White Party…

My friend works for a sample sale company in Manhattan, and she has told me some crazy stories. Including seeing Edie Falco in her underwear. It seems that every damned time I visit her, though, they’re doing something stupid like jewelry or glass sculpture. Then I leave and she’s like “Oh, we’re doing Marc Jacobs next week.”
