{SHEIN Floral Sundress, ZARA Cardigan, & OTHER STORIES Hat (exact dupe), ALDO Earrings (exact dupe), GUCCI Belt, COACH Sandals}
It’s no secret that I’m a gal who likes to occasionally splurge and pamper herself… That being said, there is absolutely NO SHAME in my bargain-hunting game! I recently placed a large emergency sundress order (yes, that’s an actual thing – don’t judge!) on Shein.com, and this pretty little frock was one of my favorites out of the bunch. That being said, don’t be surprised if you see me twirl up on the blog in the pink version soon. And at just 18 bucks a pop, can you really blame me?!
I wore this outfit for a family stroll through Central Park, and it was the perfect thing to wear during this hot, sticky NYC summer. Since I knew we’d be going out to an early dinner beforehand, I paired it with a pair of kitten-heeled sandals and a wide-brimmed hat for a bit of extra drama. But this dress would be equally as cute (and comfy) with a pair of canvas sneakers or flat sandals for running errands around the city with a baby in tow.
About the Fit:
This dress is true-to-size, and the top portion is completely shirred which makes it very flattering for a variety of figures (and bustlines). The dress also comes with a matching self-tie belt. The shoulder straps are adjustable, and you could also tuck them in for a strapless look. If you prefer lighter-colored prints this time of year, this dress also comes in both pink and white floral.
