Where: Work

I can’t even begin to tell you how ridiculously excited I was to wear this dress after the challenge was over.

Yay for sweater weather!

I originally saw this dress at Bloomingdale’s a little over a year ago but just couldn’t bring myself to swing the $300 price tag…

So imagine my joy when I was hanging out in Park Slope and saw the exact same dress hanging in the window of a random boutique for just $60!

Woohoo!  Thank you dress gods for smiling down upon me that faithful Saturday afternoon.  This dress and I are truly a match made in heaven.

Closet Confection: February 29th

2010_1203_outfit1

When: Sunday, December 5th, 2010

Where: Out & About

What: Jacket (Forever 21), sweater (H&M a really long time ago), skirt (Gap), tights (Hue), shoes (Forever 21), gloves (Etienne Aigner)

This skirt has turned out to be hands-down my favorite item during the challenge.  The shoes… not so much.

It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just that they don’t really go with as well with my other items as I thought they did.  In fact, I was originally planning to wear my ankle boots with this outfit until I realized I had only worn these shoes once.

My goal was to wear every single item at least twice, so there you have it.

Only 1 more outfit to go!

Closet Confections: Twenty-Four Hours a Day

2010_1130_outfit5

When: Tuesday, November 30th, 2010

Where: Work

What: Jacket ($35 H&M), tunic top (H&M), skirt (Banana republic), tights (Wolford), shoes (Via Spiga), hat (J.C. Penney), sunglasses (Marc Jacobs), feather brooch (H&M)

As many of you probably noticed, my poor blog was down for almost 24 hours! Did you just catch how I totally flattered myself by assuming that you guys check my blog everyday?

Anyway, it’s been all over the geek tech news outlets, so I’ll spare you the gory details. Let it suffice to say that I was in serious withdrawal from not being able to make any posts. I’ve been working on moving my blog to WordPress for a few weeks, and this latest outage has only furthered my resolve to pull the plug over here at Tumblr. I’ve imported all of my old posts, and now I just need to figure out how to map my comments to the new platform. Once that’s done, I’m outtie like a belly button!

On another note, I have some fantabulous news to share…

I’M OFFICIALLY DONE WITH THE 30 FOR 30 CHALLENGE! WOOHOO!

Of course, I still have another weeks worth of outfits to post. But tomorrow marks the first official day that I can get reacquainted with the rest of my wardrobe. YIPPEE!

I’ll post my final thoughts on the challenge once the rest of my outfit pics are up. So stay tuned…
