I’ve owned each of these pieces for several years but never thought to wear them all together.  As I was getting dressed for work, I resisted my temptation to throw in a pop of color (read: red patent leather pumps), and I’m really glad that I did.  The graphic nature of this outfit just felt so right.  In fact, I can’t wait to add more bold black & white combos into the mix.  Below are a few of the pieces I’m craving…

True story: I absolutely hate wearing suits to work.  They just always seem so blah, and I feel like I get lost in a sea of pinstriped commuters whenever I wear them.  I threw one on this morning (with a plain white blouse, no less) and was ready to walk out the door when I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror.  On the inside, my heart longed for pastels and florals.  On the outside, I looked like I was headed to a funeral… ok, maybe it wasn’t that bad. Anyway, I came up with a happy medium and was pretty darn pleased with myself.
