I’ve finally succumbed to the fact that fall has arrived, and it’s time for me to switch out my sundresses for sweaters and replace my sandals with boots. However, that doesn’t mean things have to be drab. Au contraire! I’m loving that brighter colors are all the rage this season. It’s a welcome reprieve from the forests greens, aubergines, and rust tones that are typically associated with fall.
Without even realizing it until after the fact, I took a few cues from the official Pantone Fall 2011 Color Report with today’s outfit:
The dress, belt and shoes are more vibrant versions of bamboo and ember glow, and the jacket is a spot on match for quarry.
