We were finally graced with a few hours of sunshine over the weekend, so I jumped at the chance to don a breezy linen dress, stunner shades, and cute little sandals.  Unfortunately, the sky opened up soon thereafter and dumped buckets of water on us, but at least it was fun while it lasted.

Cheers to the soggiest spring I’ve ever experienced!

UPDATE:
It’s 80 degrees and sunny today!

At first I thought the ruffles on this shirt seemed a little over-the-top. So I decided to tone things down by slipping on a pair of bright yellow pumps…

Ummm, yeah.  This is the kind of logic that runs through my head at 6am as I’m rushing to get ready for work.

Apologies for the skimpy posting as of late. I’ve been battling some serious allergies, and call me vain if you will, but I decided against posting pictures of myself with puffy eyes and a red nose. Between Zyrtec and my trusty Neti-Pot, I think I’ve finally gotten things under control. You’ll be seeing more of me as the pollen count dwindles… I promise!

I originally purchased this dress to wear during my flight to Madrid.  Maxi dresses are soooooo comfortable to travel in.  It’s almost like wearing a long comfy night gown… minus the weird stares from the flight crew and other passengers.
