Last Thursday I had several important meetings during the day, and I was hosting a huge event in the evening. I wanted a look that was polished and professional, but still had that extra Kendra* flair. I love how this outfit is very menswear-inspired with the tailored dress and banker-striped shirt. Since the top portion was so buttoned-up, I felt that I could get away with a pair of sexy red heels and matching clutch.
*I’m referring to myself in the 3rd person, just in case you thought I was talking about one of those other Kendra’s.

All of a sudden I want to break out my pointy red pumps- you make them look gooood! And I love that you referenced Buffy. I loved that show so much!
I know! Most of my shoes are more rounded these days, but I’ve held on to these shoes for years. They make me feel so… SHARP!

Super cute & chic look! Sometimes I struggle when I need to dress professionally and I still want to have a little style.
Another challenge is the standard dress code where I live & work is business casual at best. Even employees at the courthouse and the banks are dressed business casual.
I simply love this look- you look fantastic and you’ve pulled off professionalism & style.
