Spring has sprung, and while I’d love to be prancing around in flowy dresses and bare legs, the truth of the matter is that it’s downright COLD in my neck of the woods. In fact, we’ve had snow flurries every morning for the past few days! I’ve learned my lesson over the years with packing away my winter clothes too early, and it looks like I’ll still be holding on to my jackets, scarves and tights for a little while longer.

Speaking of tights…

This pair from Wolford has lasted me the entire winter season (they made their first debut in this post back in November) and are still going strong after bi-weekly wearings. I’ve worn Wolford tights for years, and they remain hands down my favorite brand. I admit to having a bit of sticker shock when I bought my first pair on a friend’s recommendation. But my concerns were promptly put to rest as soon as I slid them on. The material is so luxe, and trust me when I say that these tights DO. NOT. RUN. I’m not even kidding. I snagged a pair on chair once and got a small hole. But since it was on the upper thigh area where no one would see, I just sewed it up, and they were as good as new. I’ve never been able to do that with my other tights. When I think about how much money I’ve spent on  other brands that only last through one or two wearings (and maybe three, if I’m lucky), the splurge on Wolford tights actually seems like a pretty sound investment since they typically last for a year or more. And I did I mention that they make you feel sexy?

If you’ve never ventured into Wolford territory, I recommend starting out with a Mat 80 or Velvet de Luxe in classic black for the perfect black tight.
