When Jane Aldridge from Sea of Shoes recently did a post featuring various shoe and sock combos, I was inspired to do one of my own (albeit on a slimmer budget). The timing couldn’t have been more perfect since I was due for another closet raid!
On another note… I generally consider myself to be a somewhat conservative dresser (at least compared to what I see on the New York City streets). But I was pleasantly surprised by all of the kooky combinations I was able to come up with using items already in my closet.
Putting this post together was so much fun, and I can’t wait to try some crazy shoe & hosiery combos in real life this fall!
those red pumps are killing it.
dang it! I can’t choose a favorite…hmmmm….something about the blue pumps with the sparkly socks is calling my name, but I think the combo that I would most likely wear myself is the black strappy beauties and the striped socks….fab post!
I know, I can’t decide either! I almost forgot I had those sparkly tights, so I’ll definitely be taking those for a stroll soon.

I’m not planning on selling these, but I was just in Forever 21 last week and they have this same style shoe in black with a pink floral pattern. I scooped up a pair, so maybe check and see if they still have them.
