Ahhh… the little black dress. It’s one of those wardrobe staples that never seems to lose it’s appeal. And with good reason. It’s universally flattering, extremely versatile, and appropriate for a range of occasions.
I purchased this Kenneth Cole number for just $30 at Century 21, and thought I’d do another Closet Raid to show my favorite takes on this classic.
NIGHT ON THE TOWN
{Jean Paul Gaultier for Target belt, Marc Jacobs clutch, Guess pumps}
Sexy red pumps and matching accessories are all you need for a hot date. Just add a swipe of red lipstick and go!
A WALK IN THE PARK
{Old Navy jacket, Elliott Lucca handbag, thrifted bandana, Converse sneakers}
A denim jacket and comfy kicks makes the look casual and laid-back for running errands around town.
GETTING DOWN TO BUSINESS
{Banana Republic Blazer, H&M shirt, Calvin Klein belt, Via Spiga pumps}
A classic blazer and crisp oxford shirt makes this dress ready for the boardroom. Black patent maryjanes and a matching belt help polish off this ensemble.
LADIES WHO LUNCH
{Tommy Hilfiger cardigan, Forever 21 belt, Charlotte Russe heels}
What could be sweeter than a soft pink cardigan and ladylike pearls? Perfect for afternoon tea or lunch with the girls.
TOTALLY BAD@$$
{Andrew Marc jacket, Dolce & Gabbana shades, Kenneth Cole heels}
Last, but not least, a tough leather jacket, mysterious shades and no-nonsense heels help bring out the LBD’s sassier side. Just don’t forget the don’t-mess-with-me attitude before you walk out the door.
Oh, and by the way, it’s TUMBLR TUESDAY! So here’s your chance to recommend me in the fashion directory!
