What I’m about to write has absolutely nothing to do with my outfit, but I’m so excited that I have to share…
After being on the waiting list forever, we finally got a storage space in the basement of our apartment building!
Sorry if that was anti-climactic for some of you folks, but I couldn’t be more thrilled. Anyone who’s familiar with NYC real estate knows that storage space comes at a high-premium, so I consider myself super-lucky.
I spent the better part of last weekend carefully placing my shoes into boxes, neatly arranging books and dvds, and deftly packing my out-of-season garments. Redecorating my apartment has been on my short-list of priorities for a while now, but I first needed to clear out all of the clutter to get a handle on the situation. With the yucky part out of the way, I can now move on to the fun stuff!
P.S. I linked this post up with Inside Jewelscapes!
This outfit is gorgeous! Pink and grey is without a doubt one of the greatest colour combinations there is – in my book at least! I’m also loving belts more and more these days, and yours is a great example of why that is; it’s the perfect finishing touch.
Pink and grey is one of my favorite combos too, but I don’t wear it nearly often enough.
nice background 🙂 but outfit is cuter 😛

Woo hoo! Storage space is HUGE news – congrats!
Love pink & gray combo on you. So pretty.
I’m glad to hear someone shares my excitement! 🙂
sorry but I am bored with the 30 for 30.. Why would anyone want to do this…………..
I mean you have a closet full of clothes why dont you decide not to buy more clothing…. and where the ones you have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No need to be sorry. I’m doing it because I think it’s fun and a bit out of the norm from my usual approach to dressing. Also, a big part of the 30 for 30 includes not buying more clothing and instead wearing the things you already own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t know if I could ever do 30 for thirty. I have no discipline when it comes to my closet! I give anyone credit who can, and make it look good 😉

I thought the same thing at first, but it’s actually not that hard once you get into it.
Cute!
I have that same exact dress and just bought very similar shoes, but I adore the way you’ve put this whole look together! And congrats on the storage space!! 🙂

H&M has the best long cardigans, don’t they? I love mine so much that it’s falling apart 🙁 And yes that was anticlimactic, I totally thought it was going to be like “I bought a car!” or “I won the lottery!” hahahahaa
LOVE the dress and the shoes!!
That pink and grey is so pretty together!
