When: Saturday, July 31st, 2010

Where: MoMA + Dinner @ Pies ‘n’ Thighs

What: Dress ($40 Armani Exchange), blazer (Old Navy), sandals ($50 Michael Kors via Loehmann’s), bracelet (Gap)

Don’t ask me what I was thinking when I decided to wear white linen while eating fried chicken drenched in hot sauce (it was delicious, by the way). What can I say, I like living on the edge.  Miraculously, the dress survived unscathed even though I’m notorious for getting crumbs all over myself when I eat.  My husband says it’s endearing, but I think he’s just being nice.

I initially bypassed this dress when I first saw it on the rack.  But then I decided, what the heck, and gave it a spin.  That turned out to be good move, because I love it now.  It’s kinda hard to make out in the photo, but it has a built-in bib necklace that’s covered in little white stones.  It saves me the extra step of trying to decide on what necklace to wear before leaving the house.  And I’m all about convenient fashion (with the exception of cargo pants)!

Thanks! We tried taking some cool shots inside the musuem too, but the lighting just didn’t work. No worries, cuz we took it to the streets afterwards, lol.

Thanks! It was pretty hot and muggy that day, so I was grateful for this dress.
