Closet Confection: Lucky Thirteen

Last Friday, I had the wonderful pleasure of having dinner with the following bloganistas:

• Gaby, Paperplanes and Maryjanes
• Leila, Cheesecake Wishes
• Sarah, Raving Fashionista
• Kiley, A Sequin Dress at Breakfast
• Emily, Bellishment

In addition to being super-sweet, each of these ladies run slammin’ blogs.  So be sure to check ’em out!

During the course of the evening, we laughed, we talked, we drank, and we ate.  I was kinda bummed all week over not being able to attend any of the fashion blogger conferences and events because of work, but living vicariously through some of the ladies who were able to attend helped make up for it.

I have no shame in admitting that I obsess over what I’m going to wear any time I know I’ll be seeing other fashion bloggers.  And this outing was particularly challenging since I had to work within the confines of the 30 for 30 challenge.  After a long work week, I decided to just go for a comfy, casual look.

And since it was FRRRREEEEZING (per usual here in NYC these days), I jumped at the chance to wear my warmest winter coat.

I think I achieved the fashionista’s wintertime trifecta with this getup: warmth, coziness, and style… SCORE!
