When: Monday, November 15th, 2010
Where: The office
What: Sweater (H&M years ago), skirt (Banana Republic), tights (Emilio Cavallini), shoes (Via Spiga), belt (Oscar de la Renta)
After meticulously pre-ironing and laying out all of my outfits last week (down to the last earring), I decided to allow my outfits come together more organically this week…
In other words, I was too lazy to plan everything out over the weekend!
And of course, I was rushing around like a madwoman trying to leave the house on time Monday morning, only to realize once I got to the office that my 8:30am meeting had been rescheduled.
Oh well, such is life.
On another note, I’ve reached an exciting point in the challenge where I’ve actually started repeating items. As you may have noticed, I wore this skirt last week. I doubt anyone at my office noticed since it’s just a simple black skirt, but I am feeling a little anxious about wearing my vintage plaid shirt again tomorrow.

I LOVE this look on you. It is so sexy in a subtle way. It’s like naughty…but coy office girl :-). You look great.
Thanks! I like to channel “naughty secretary” at work from time to time, lol.
I love this outfit! It’s very Mad Men inspired 🙂
Love those tights!!
Cute stockings.
I’m getting worried about repeating items too… I included some items in my 30 for 30 I don’t often wear, like a floral orange mini, and now I’m getting worried about how often I’ll need to re-wear these items! It’s easier to replay bland/plain items than the ones that stand out, cos people start to notice. Your outfits all look great so far though, good luck with remixing the plaid skirt 🙂
Thanks! I chickened out and didn’t wear the plaid shirt. I know, I’m lame. I’m going to have to wear it eventually though, lol.
Not sure if my comment got sent to the virtual bermuda triangle! =(
I love this outfit and I think I have the same skirt from BR, so form fitting! You are looking so chic, always!
Thanks! I love this skirt. It’s definitely one of my wardrobe staples.
Oooh. I am loving this look on you! It’s classic and professional, but far from boring. 🙂 The bold blue and skinny leopard print belt are perfection together. I like how you kept them the main focus of this outfit by wearing only a few other understated accessories. Nice one!!
Thanks! I was actually pressed for time which is why I went light on accessories, lol.
This color blue on you is awesome!! And, I love how you tied it all together with the leopard belt!!!
Love this outfit, especially the tights. Polka dots get me every time (:

I have to echo everyone else here and say that color blue looks so beautiful on you! and I’m loving those polka dot tights. I never considered myself a polka dot tight kind of girl, but I think you’ve turned me! So subtle, so awesome.

Thank you! Swiss dot tights are a classic favorite of mine.
Very nice! I really like the polka dot tights and details on the sweater. The leopard print is a nice touch!
Love the combo. The thin animal print belt and the polka dot sheer tights are such great details.
