{ASOS Dress (similar shaped dress here and similar print top here), Hue Tights, H&M Ring, Forever 21 Cuff, Nicole Miller Shoes}
The first time I wore this dress, I thought the balloon sleeves were a little overwhelming, so I tried to tone them down with a blazer. This time around, I’m fully embracing in all their pirate-esque glory!
No need to tone down this dress- it looks awesome just as it is!
Embrace away girl! This dress is absolutely adorable!
Love this. That dress is perfect for work 🙂

This dress is too cute, the sleeves give it that extra touch of girlyness, it really suits the dress.
That’s a really cool dress, and the way you styled it up really does it justice.
Love the sleeves! Your cuff is pretty as well 🙂
I really dig those sleeves, what a lovely dress – you wear it well!
Hey Kendra!
I can’t believe it; I just thrifted a silk dress with sleeves like these. I love them!!! Haven’t worn it yet since I have to hem it and take in the sides, but I can’t wait, especially now. You look great.
Any suggestions on what to bring to NY at the end of the month? I’m going to be schlepping around the lower East side, for the most part and I’m trying to pack next to nothing.
Hope all’s well.
Love, Jean

The most important thing you’ll need to bring is a cute pair of flats or other comfortable shoes. NYC sidewalks are MURDER on a gal’s heels. Beyond that, I’d recommend the following:
– Trench coat
– A few brightly colored scarves to layer over your outfits and change up your look (check out this video for tips on how to tie them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LYAEz777AU)
– Mysterious sunglasses
For packing light, I’d recommend sticking with a specific color palette. That way you can mix-and-match without worrying about things “going” together.
I love that dress! The cuff is a great touch.
You are so adorable in this outfit
