{No Relation Vintage 80s Sweater, H&M Skirt (similar), Forever 21 Boots (similar here and here) & Earrings}
It seems like the nastier the weather gets, the brighter my outfits become. The last time I wore this skirt, it was a downright balmy 60s degrees. This time around it’s about 30 degrees cooler and there’s a layer of gray slush on the ground. I know I threaten to move to Florida every year around this time, but it’s starting to sound more and more attractive.
Back when over-the-knee boots were all the rage, I was intrigued but not really sure if they were practical for me. So I scooped up a cheap-y pair at Forever 21 (for under $30, thank you very much) just to test the waters. My instincts were correct, in that I’ve only worn them a handful of times. I decided to give them another go yesterday, and I really like the way they work with this midi-length skirt.
Love this! Very Cute!

Love that skirt, so pretty.
Hello
Just found your blog thru Already Pretty. I’m a Geek too… sort of (work as an engineer) and my work uniform is supposed to be khakis, jeans and steel toe boots but I’d rather dress up to work. Love your style. I end up buying stuff that I can’t wear to work and they end up living in my closet…oh well

I always admire tall boots paired with a midi skirt, but it never seems to look quite right on me. I think you’ve inspired me to give it another try! I love this pair (Forever 21, really?!?!) with your bright skirt!
I love that skirt ma’am. Cute look
There’s a special place in my heart for bright pink skirts, especially pleated ones. And yours looks great with those boots!

I agree. Just because it’s winter and drab doesn’t mean I have to be. I’m actually wearing an magenta skirt and a yellow cardigan today. I love fun pairings of color!!
Love your blog, keep it up.
Love the pop of color, I’m actually doing a how-to outfit series on my blog using pops of color in your winter wardrobe. I would love to have that skirt in my closet 🙂
