{Express Tee, Vintage/Thrifted 70s Wrap Skirt, Jessica Simpson ‘Dany’ Platforms}
I picked up this amazing skirt at No Relation Vintage for just $8 a few months ago, and I was waiting for the perfect sunny spring day to wear it. This outfit pretty much put itself together. Since I wanted the skirt to be the focus, I just added a plain white t-shirt (although I think it would look equally smashing with a halter top once things really start to heat up), and the outfit pretty much required me to wear a pair of sky high platforms. I find that the right shoe is key to preventing below-knee length skirts from looking matronly.
Ach! That skirt is utterly adorable!

Love the vintage skirt with the Dany’s. Actually, I love a pair of Dany’s with any outfit!

Love that skirt…you look so adorable! And I like the idea of wearing sky-high heels to keep knee-length skirts from looking matronly…I see fun things in the future for some of my work-appropriate skirts with that tip!
Love your outfit! I have always wondered how to pull off a below the knee skirt without looking matronly.

Oops, pressing all kinds of buttons right now on my iPhone 😛 I wish the weather was like that today! I definitely should hve worn something brighten cheery to counteract this grey weather.
What an adorable outfit! I love how you styled the skirt. Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comment! 🙂
Thanks for returning the favor! 🙂
You’re welcome sweetie! The platform sole makes these shoes pretty comfy… well, as comfy as 5 inch heels can be, lol!
Wow. Best skirt I’ve seen all day. This is gorgeous. And those shoes are fabulous!
What a fun spring-y outfit! I love perfect vintage finds too 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my blog and the kind note.

What a terrific spring outfit! Love the skirt, and those shoes are amazing. (Though however do you manage to walk in platforms that high? I don’t think I’ve gotten the trick of that, yet…) I like the idea of balancing mid-length skirts with super-high heels to keep an outfit fresh.
I just walk very carefully… and avoid cobblestone streets, lol!
I’m sorry to say that but I really don’t like this skirt, however, I adore your SHOES !!
I’m sorry but I don’t like your skirt, however, your shoes are AMAZING !
No need to be sorry for not liking my skirt. You’re entitled to your opinion. I absolutely adore it. 🙂
I think the skirt is adorable and the shoes are amazing. Your choice of a plain white tee is perfect.
FABULOUS! I love the contrast with the plain white t-shirt and INCREDIBLE platforms! I don’t care for Jessica Simpson, but her shoes are really starting to grow on me, especially your shoes! I have a couple of statement skirts I never wear because I do not know what to pair with them. I am stealing these ideas!
