When I was a kid I wanted to grow up and become a superhero…
I even had a set of Supergirl pajamas that came with a detachable velcro cape.
As I got older, my goals became less lofty and more practical. ย And while I pride myself on being a “responsible grown-up”, sometimes I miss the good old days.
Which brings me to the title of this post…
Click here for a little dose of nostalgia.

Thanks! ๐
OH my goodness, you are totally a style superhero in that awesome plaid cape!! You are still really inspiring me with those mixed prints, I am so bummed I was incredibly boring and picked solid color everything in my 30! :/
Lovely! Those boots are gorgeous.
i LOVE your cape. I have one my mom made me a couple of years ago and I can’t wait until it gets cold enough in San Francisco to wear it. is this one of your remix items or did you consider this more of a coat? i might just have to call mine a coat so I can remix it ๐
Yeah, I considered this outerwear and not part of the actual outfit.
Thanks for stopping by! I love how you are numbering your 30for30 pictures!
I wish I had a patterned cape now! Your slouchy sweater and boots are perfect for a casual chic outfit!
