Call me weird, but I absolutely love rainy days, especially when I have on the proper gear! My husband can never understand it when I’m rearing to go out in the middle of a thunderstorm. But I enjoy being out and about while everyone else is at home because all of the stores are less crowded.
I snagged these Hunter boots a while back on Overstock.com for around $60 and have worn them to death ever since. They did a great job of keeping my toes warm and dry this winter when I paired them with fleece boot socks.
Today was my first time wearing this adorable rain jacket. The material is made from a silky, lightweight nylon which does a great job of repelling water without making me feel all hot and sticky like a lot of plastic raincoats do. I have a feeling that I’ll be getting a lot of use out it piece this spring. It even folds nicely into its own little matching bag that I can keep in my purse for unexpected showers. Perfecto!
