I always love wearing red on Valentine’s Day. And since I didn’t include any red garments in my 30 for 30 round-up, I just decided to throw one of my favorite winter coats for a splash of color.
I have a pretty hot date later on tonight, but it’s a complete mystery to me where we’re going. As much as I love surprise outings, I always freak out over what I should wear. I had Eric review my outfit last night to see if it was appropriate for our outing. He gave me two thumbs up, so think I’m all set.
I’m super excited to see what he has planned, and I have a feeling I’m going to have a hard time concentrating at work today!
Happy Valentine’s Day, peeps!
Adorable post!! That is a fantastic outfit. Liked it before you piled on the red coat, and even more after. Excited to hear where you guys end up. Happy V-Day!
Very nice. loving that skirt print with the red jacket.

I love all of your shaped photo crops! They give your posts such great personality.
AND I’m a huge fan of mixing red with animal print so you’ve sold me on your look too! Happy V Day. Hope your date is super romantic and lots of fun.
Thanks. I’ve been having fun playing around in photoshop lately. Happy V Day to you too!
That skirt rocks! I also like the crispness of your white top. You’re so adorable in that first pose. Eh, you’re adorable always!

Nothin’ wrong with leopard and red for VDay–have fun on your hot date!
Love this look. Red and leopard print are so perfect together!
Happy Valentine’s Day! That coat is the perfect topper for that outfit, Valentine’s Day or no.

I love your skirt and the tie neck blouse. Your red coat is the perfect touch =)
Ok, I have been pushed over the edge!! You have inspired me {along with many others}… I REALLY NEED some animal print in my wardrobe!! I simply don’t have enough! This look is amazing!! I love it and I love your poses. Perfecto!

I love your skirt! Have you done any posts devoted to your hair lately? I really like the twist (?) that you have in the front.
I haven’t done any posts on my hair, but it’s something I’ve been thinking about. In this pic, I have a single french braid going across the front of my hair.
I went from having zero animal print in my wardrobe a year ago, to going completely gaga over it recently! Glad you enjoy it. 🙂
Thank you. I’m so in love with this coat, especially when it’s drab and drear outside.
Thanks. I’m sure it’ll be sizzlin’! 😉
Thanks. I’ve been lovin’ the combo as of late.
Yes, indeed. Happy Valentine’s Day to you too!
Love that leopard skirt!

Man, I am so jealous that you live in NYC and have access to so many amazing places to shop. THAT TOP. AND SKIRT. Actually maybe it’s a good thing b/c we’d probably have all the same clothes if I lived near you 🙂
Thanks so much! 😀

I wholeheartedly agree!
Your coat is definitely the perfect touch of red! I love that skirt too, normally I only see animal print in pencil skirts so yours is so refreshing!
Same here! I was really stoked to see this print in full skirt.
Love your skirt!!
