Leave it to me to find the perfect 4th of July outfit more than 3.5 months late! Oh well, it’s never too late to show your patriotism.
After having brunch at Rue 57, one of my favorite spots for blueberry pancakes, I decided to take a nice stroll through Central Park and snap a few pics. Of course, within 5 minutes the “secluded” spot we’d chosen became the most popular photo location ever. Or perhaps taking photos on rocks is just all the rage now. Sometimes I feel kind of bad for tourists who catch me taking outfit photos and somehow think that the spot must be some famous landmark. I almost want to shout “No, no, no! This is just a regular old alley, nothing historic and/or interesting about it at all. I’m just a crazy lady who likes to takes pictures of herself.” But then that might be weird…
i bet the tourists are in awe. i have the worst feeling of superiority to them. you are fashion blogging, and they are eating dinner at the times sq applebees after a matinee of spamalot. TAKE THOSE ROCKS BACK!!!
Arrrgh! That’s one of my pet peeves: seeing tourists eat at chain restaurants in NYC. There are soooo many great (and inexpensive) restaurants in the city that it’s almost criminal to eat at Red Lobster (except for the cheddar bay biscuits, lol)!
Lovely.
Haha, oh man, taking outfit pictures can be so awkward. Gotta love it. Love your skirt and boots. And oh-so jealous of your ability to wear layers! I miss fall like woah.
love your outfit!! all of the peices go together perfectly. you look great!
I love your trench! The back has cool detailing– almost looks like a skirt!
