Because I live on the riverfront, I sometimes like to dress the part. I was trying to hold off on wearing this outfit until Fleet Week, but I just couldn’t help myself. I think the nautical print on this dress is adorable, and I really like how the navy sweater and bright red sandals just brought the whole look together.
Sidebar, I had a great time hanging out in Brooklyn this weekend where I saw The Lost World at Brooklyn Academy of Music. This was my first time watching a silent movie accompanied by a live orchestra, and I must say that it was pretty cool. The musicians of Alloy Orchestra did a fantastic job, and a few times I missed the words on the screen because I was so engrossed in how they were making all of the crazy sound effects.
