Those word the words that came out of my husband’s mouth when he first saw me in this dress. Not exactly the effect I was going for, but I’ll live with it.

I’m pretty proud of the clever outfit concoctions that I’ve put together to help me avoid wearing suits to work. But I have to say that this one takes the cake.
I got this blazer on a whim a while back, but I wasn’t really sure how I’d wear it. Then divine inspiration struck at 6am as I stumbled out of bed one morning… or perhaps I was so bleary-eyed that I just grabbed two random items in the same color scheme. Whatever the case, I don’t think I’ve ever received so many compliments on one of my work ensembles as this one.
Who knew clashing patterns could be so office-friendly?
