I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical when I first caught wind of the neon trend. Granted I was just a wee babe in the 80s, but I still have flashbacks of poison green spandex that send chills up my spine. As it turns out, I had no need to fret. I think the key to pulling off this look without blinding my fellow pedestrians on the street is to keep things subtle… well, as subtle as a pair of neon yellow sandals can be! But seriously, I find that just playing around with a few neon touches, like a hot pink watch strap or an electric blue top, is a fun way to spice things up.
this outfit is absolutely adorable!!! gosh, I love that necklace. *heads to etsy to find one just like it!* 😉
I love everything about this – the dress, the jewelry (that ring!!), and the neon shoes! You killed the neon trend and still look totally you!
Love this entire look! Fab.
Totally feel you on this neon trend! It’s a bit intimidating. Shoes are a great way to do it without going overboard. I love how you paired them with that beautiful scarf print dress! Looking lovely.

Such a pretty outfit! I’ve fully embraced the neon trend and will often attempt to blind people with my colors:) You make a great case for subtlety though!
This is cute and oh so timely. i was just trying to decide between getting these aldo sandals (http://www.aldoshoes.com/us/sale/women/sale-sandals/89376257-kustes/53) in black (safe) or fuchsia. You’ve inspired me to take the pink path.
oh yes! the pink ones are adorable. 🙂
I absolutely love that dress. I have something similar to it. I’m just trying to pinpoint a day I can bust it out. <3 the necklace as well. =)
Love these shoes, they are amazing!
thanks, i just couldn’t resist them 🙂
