I’m all about spring cleaning… however, my packrat tendencies have only been reinforced by today’s outfit. For years (3 to be exact), my husband has been insisting kindly suggesting that I get rid of this blazer. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve placed it in the “toss” pile, only to dig it out at the last second before it met it’s fate at either Beacon’s Closet or the local goodwill.
In any case, it looks like my reluctance has paid off because this jacket matches perfectly with my new frock and allows me to get a few wears even with the chill still in the air.
And how about you guys? Do you have any articles of clothing that others have “gently recommended” you get rid of but you just can’t seem to part with?

That blazer looks brilliant with that dress! Good thing it kept getting rescued. I have a few of those items too…. I am battling with on dress right now because it fits a little snug, but I love it so much that I just can’t give it away without remorse.

i go through my closet every 3 months or so and throw the clothes that i dont particularly like but half of them always somehow back in my closet 😉

My rule of thumb is that if somethings too big, I toss it (or have it altered). If it’s too snug, I try to hang on to it for motivation.
