Closet Confection: Better Late Than Never

What: tunic (H&M), leggings (Wolford via Club Monaco), booties (Forever 21), beret (Forever 21), brooch (H&M)

How does that old saying go?  “If it weren’t for the last minute, nothing would get done.”

Yep, that’s pretty much how I roll!

I’ve known about the Breton Stripes Challenge over at Everybody, Everywhere for a while, but somehow it totally slipped my mind while I was getting dressed this morning.  But no worries, I’m sliding in with a last minute entry at 11:30pm EST.  I’ve still got thirty minutes to spare… make that 3 hours and 30 minutes if you’re on the West Coast!

Since it’s after hours, and I’m officially off duty, I thought I’d take my stripes in funky direction with leopard print booties and a cool brooch.  Hmmm… I think I know what I’ll be wearing this weekend!

    So glad you managed to pull it off at the last minute! Such a cute tunic (I have a version with bigger stripes) and styled so beautifully! That ribbon is the cherry on top.
