What We Wore Style Challenge: Victor Victoria
Joan, Sarah, Elly, Kendra
Danielle, Tessa, JoAnn, TexWhatIWore: For this week’s style challenge, I asked you to send me your best lady like or menswear inspired looks. Everyone looks great! Thanks to these 50+ gals forparticipating! Click through and check out their blogs!
It’s time for another What I Wore Style Challenge (check me out in the last pic on the top row)! This time around we channelled the movie Victor Victoria by choosing either a super-feminine or menswear-inspired look.
My first inclination was to take the easy route and pick a feminine look, but I decided to go all out and get suited up gentleman style. My husband even let me borrow one of his favorite ties!
Brava to all of the ladies for looking so fly. And thanks to Jessica for organizing!
Here are some more close up pics of my look:
If you’re curious about the book I’m holding, it’s The Knack: How Street-Smart Entrepreneurs Learn to Handle Whatever Comes Up, by Norm Brodsky and Bo Burlingham. Call me a nerd, but I’m a serious business-book junkie.
I love your take on this challenge – still so feminine even though the menswear details are there!
So pretty, Kendra! Love the shoes and the touch of pink!
I love your look too! This is such a great way to find out about other outfit bloggers. Your shoes are so cute!
Loving your look too! So funny, I wrote in my post for me the menswear look was the easy route since I have so much suiting and stuff from my old corporate days. 🙂 Cheers!
ooh this is a cute contest!
