Day 3 of the 30 for 30 challenge, and still going strong!
I’m finding that I have so much extra time on my hands in the morning now that I’m not worried about what I’m going to wear. Maybe I should actually start using the gym in my building…
Naaahhhhh…
I think I’ll just sleep in a little longer instead.
Or perhaps I could go back to my former daily practice of brewing a mug of herbal tea and meditating on how I’d like my day to unfold. I used to do that when I first went into sales and it really helped calm my nerves and made me more productive. Yeah, I’m deep and philosophical like that. Don’t let the preppy stripes and khaki fool you!
And what about you other remixers out there? Are you finding that you spend more or less time thinking about what to wear now that your choices are limited?

Great look! I love how you combined the stripes with the leopard print belt! The 3 in the first pic is so cute. 🙂
Very cute and chic combo! That could easily take you from the office to the park and then out to dinner. Love it!
Especially with my outfits planned out, I definitely feel like I have more time…but then I use the time to figure out what accessories I want to wear. And then today I forgot my favorite accessories – my engagement ring and wedding band, eek!
I’m not shopping this month either and I’m finding new ways to pair and layer. I find this is one of the best times of the year to do it because with cardigans and sweaters the multiple options are really there.

very cute! I love that dress and it could totaly be worn open as a “jacket” too!
cuuuuuuute!
I’ve also been enjoying extra time in the mornings. I think it’s partly Daylight Savings….my body is so used to waking up at a certain time, that I’ve been getting up an hour earlier!
Love that belt with the khaki!
I am starting to feel more confident about my own clothing choices now that I see you wearing the same items I have! First it was the black Miss Sixty trench; now it’s the brown & white striped shirt from H & M. Thanks for the great ideas!! That’s a really adorable outfit.
Glad I could help. I love seeing someone on the street wearing something that I own in a new, cool way. I’m always on the lookout for styling ideas. You can also check out how I wore that striped top here: https://closetconfections.com/post/511294674/closet-confection-brunch-date
I really like the striped top with the leopard print belt 🙂 It’s totally unusual and completely works!! I shall have to give it a try sometime!
I think a sleeveless trench is just so chic! And I love your leopard belt too!
Love, love love the trench. Good luck with the challenge! Thanks for stopping by.

too cute! love the sleeveless trench. I was actually considering cutting off the sleeves of an old one of mine and just experimenting. Love it!
our belts matched today!

yay for leopard belts! isn’t it great how leopard prints almost work as a neutral?
A sleeveless trench? I’ve never seen such a thing. I love that you paired it with the stripes. I’m a sucker for the blue stripes. As you know from my blog, I love the preppy and think you look great.
And yes…I love that I have limited choices in the morning. So far, it has made getting dressed so easy. We’ll see if that lasts as I start having to think of more combinations.
I have a stripe shirt and khaki jacket in my 30 for 30 picks t00! I was actually thinking of wearing them together which is what I usually do. I totally find I’m spending less time in my closet in the morning. In fact, I already have in my head what I’m wearing tomorrow! I like to spend my extra time sitting in my car enjoying my coffee in the morning before I have to go into work, and you’re right… it’s really helpful in changing my outlook!
I have much more time! I got all my outfits out on Sunday so I just pull it out the closet and put it on. I may have to keep this up even after the 30 for 30! Love your mix of prints! I was mixing up prints on my remix yesterday!

Seriously chic. I’ve really been enjoying your style; I think you put things together brilliantly. To answer your question…I think I spend more time thinking about how to get dressed now! When I’ve got my whole (ridiculously hugungous) closet to work from, I usually just get overwhelmed, and throw on the same jeans and sweaters and blouses for days in a row. But my 30 items are things I genuinely love, feel good in, and want to wear more often, so I want to make sure they all get a fair chance! However, even though I’m thinking about it more, its taking a lot less time to actually get dressed, since that means I have a carefully planned outfit ready each morning, rather than searching frantically for a clean pair of jeans and a not so wrinkly blouse to throw together. Its also making me be much more adventurous, and that’s been paying off…I’ve gotten more comments from people on the street, at work, and in the grocery store, and all of it has been positive.
Thanks, I’m glad you’re enjoying it. And kudos to you for being more adventurous with your wardrobe. I feel the same way too since starting the challenge, especially with my accessories.
