Just another casual weekend getup…
I’m on a mission to wear all of my sweaters a few more times before spring rolls in. It’ll be time for a wardrobe switch before you know it, and it would be such a shame for them not to see the light of day again.

It was a perfect storm of leftover holiday giftcards and an end-of-season clearance sale that brought these beauties into my life without me having to spend a dime. But to be honest, even without the giftcards they still would have been a steal at just $49 in-store (marked down from over $300). And as an added bonus, they’re actually pretty comfy. Thumbs up to the manufacturer for adding extra-cushioning at the ball of the foot.

Last Thursday’s outfit left me wanting to play with more jewel tones, so I nabbed this beautiful scarf and decided to build an entire outfit around it. Scarves are a great way to jazz up an otherwise standard ensemble, and I especially love how they can inspire unexpected color combinations. For instance, I’ve had this sweater and this skirt for quite some time but never thought to pair them together before. You can rest assured that I’ll be digging through my scarf drawer over the coming weeks to see what other combinations I can come up with.
