Set Your Clocks… It’s Tucker for Target Time!

tucker_target

If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I love Target’s Go International designer collaborations.  I scooped up this Tie-Front Blouse in Lawn Bird Print during Gilt Groupe’s preview sale a while back.

My fingers weren’t fast enough to pick up the other goodies I wanted, but below are some of the looks I can’t wait to get my hands on:

When: Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

Where: Work

What: Dress (Jean Paul Gaultier for Target), sweater (Gap), shoes ($20 Guess via Filene’s Basement)

Ok, my hair’s still up, but I couldn’t think of another title with the word eyelet in it…

In any case, this outfit is further proof of my love for Target’s Go! International designer collaborations.  I snatched this one up on the clearance rack one lucky afternoon and have been dying to wear it ever since.  I was trying to hold out for a red cardigan, but that never materialized.  Once I realized that the summer was winding down (and I’d better where this thing before Labor Day) I decided that a navy blue would do just fine… and be patriotic at the same time!

When: Saturday, August 28th, 2010

Where: Here and There

What: Maxi dress ($35 Liberty of London for Target), sandals ($40 Sam Edelman via DSW)

When I originally purchased this dress, I envisioned myself wearing it to a daytime summer wedding.  Unfortunately, the one wedding that I went to this season was at night, and I wound up wearing an olive satin dress instead (at least it still had a big ruffle).

With the summer rapidly winding to a close, I decided I didn’t need a special occasion to wear this dress… a late brunch and window-shopping along Madison Avenue worked just fine!
