CC Recommends: The ‘City Sandal’ {My Top Picks for Under $100}

City Sandals{Pictured Above: Moschino, Leifsdottir, Valentino}

Hello, Lovelies!

If you’ve been to my blog a few times, you’ve probably guessed that I absolutely adore shoes! And while I’ve never been one to shy away from a 4-inch heel (or a designer price tag), sometimes a gal’s tootsies (and bank account) just need a break!  That’s why I’m so excited about low-heeled “city sandals”.  I love living in NYC, but these mean city streets can wreak havoc on my heels if I’m not careful.  The reason I’m so smitten with city sandals is that they have a sturdy heel that’s perfect for pounding the pavement.

Below are my favorite picks for under $100 a pop. And if you see something that strikes your fancy, you can hover the image for pricing information and a link to purchase online.  Enjoy!

Confessions of a Shoe Addict…

White/black leather platform sandal with yellow and pink karung platform and heel, 5.5″ heel with platform

It’s no secret that I’m a SHOE ADDICT!  I love clothes in general, but there’s just something about a fantastic pair of shoes that’s just… magical.  To me, a well-made shoe can be something like a work of art.  My favorite spots in the city for browsing seriously epic creations are Barney’s, Bergdorf Goodman, Sak’s Fifth Avenue, and Jeffrey.  I recently took a stroll through Bergdorf’s to see the new spring collections, and my breath was nearly taken away.

Since I wasn’t able to sneak any pics in the store, I snagged a catalog and compiled a few of my favorites after the jump.

WARNING: SERIOUS SHOE PORN TO FOLLOW!

For anyone who knows me, it’s no secret that I LOVE shoes! So I decided to continue last year’s tradition and dedicate an entire post to my favorite shoes.  Looking back, I’m pleased to say that every single pair (except for the ones I got from Forever 21) was purchased on clearance.

I’m looking forward to big things (and even bigger shoe bargains) in 2012!
