And while I’ve never been one to shy away from a 4-inch heel (or a designer price tag), sometimes a gal’s tootsies (and bank account) just need a break! That’s why I’m so excited about low-heeled “city sandals”. I love living in NYC, but these mean city streets can wreak havoc on my heels if I’m not careful. The reason I’m so smitten with city sandals is that they have a sturdy heel that’s perfect for pounding the pavement.
