After our stint in Niagara Falls, Eric and I were off to explore Toronto. I’ve been to Toronto a number of times, but I always find something new to experience while I’m there. While there weren’t any official Drake sightings during our stay, we still managed to have a great time. You can’t tell by the gorgeous blue skies in these photos, but there was a torrential downpour the morning we arrived in the city. Undeterred, we ducked into Ripley’s Aquarium for a couple of hours to wait out the rain. This turned out to be the best decision ever as there was so much to see. I had to be reluctantly torn away from the jellyfish and shark tanks because I seriously could have sat and stared all day.
Once the rain clouds cleared away and the sun poked out, we skipped over to the waterfront for a scenic cruise through the Toronto Islands (but not before grabbing a beaver tail for the ride!). Luckily for us, the weather was picture-perfect for the rest of our stay. We were famished by the time our boat docked early in the evening, so a quick Yelp search led us over to Flock for a casual, yet DELICIOUS, fried chicken dinner with all of the fixings. It was the perfect cap to a relaxing day before hitting the road again to venture further east.
