Just a few pics I snapped with my iPhone last weekend. Spring is hands-down my favorite time of year. I love how I can just throw on a breezy little dress and a pair of sandals and be ready to go in just a few minutes. I also keep a pile of my favorite jewels right next to my bedroom door, so I can just grab a few baubles on my way out.

I struck gold during a recent trip to Century 21. Seriously, if there’s one near you, RUN don’t walk! I scooped up the dress and sandals you see here, plus a Diane Von Furstenberg romper and Dolce Vita flats for an insanely good deal. Not to mention that I’ve seen all four pieces at Bloomingdale’s recently for much more than I paid.
In other news, I think this may quickly become one of my favorite dresses. It’s very similar in style to the one I scored at New York and Company, but it’s made of dreamy silk and has a lovely pastel pattern that looks so soft and feminine. I seriously feel like a butterfly when I wear it.

It was a mild winter’s day the last time I wore this dress, so I layered it up and threw on thick tights and ankle boots. This time around, the temps were in the high 70s, so I got to go bare-limbed (YAY!). The scarf was an after-thought, and I didn’t realize until I was uploading these pics how much my outfit resembled my old girl scout’s uniform.
