It’s hard to tell in these pics, but this dress is a pretty shocking NEON PINK!  You also may or not be able to tell by these pics that this dress cost less than $20.  Since my frock made a pretty bold statement on its own, I decided to pair it with dainty silver accessories.  Speaking of silver accessories, you may have spotted a couple of new additions to my collection of baubles…

After much internal debate, I made my first ever purchase from Tiffany & Co.  Those little blue boxes are enough to set any woman’s heart aflutter, and I couldn’t be happier with my new ring and necklace.  The ring in particular holds special meaning for me.  For you see, although I try to appear polished and put-together on the blog, I have a dirty little secret… I’m terribly forgetful!  Actually, my memory’s pretty good when it comes to retaining information of the bookish variety, but I kid you not when I say I’d lose my head if it wasn’t screwed on.  I’ve misplaced keys, wallets, purses, shoes, passports, you-name-it, so often that it’s not even funny.  My family and friends make fun of me for it, but I like to think it’s because I have too much important stuff going on in my head to worry about the details.  In any case, I love the idea of having a little string tied around my finger to remind of the little things.

I don’t often swoon over shorts, but there was just something about this little silk romper that had me at ‘hello’.  The temps climbed to the high 80s over the weekend, which made it the perfect time to toss on barely there flats and  movie star shades.
