True story: I got stuck on one of the worst subway rides ever last week. It was the really brutal kind where everyone was smashed in like sardines, there was no A/C, and a mysterious odor permeated the entire car. After sweating bullets in my heavy down coat (with someone’s backpack jammed into my ribs), I couldn’t take it anymore. So after just two stops (which took almost half and hour), I jumped out early and decided to kill some time in Century 21 before continuing my journey home. While I was there, I figured I might as well make the most out it and present you guys with another Fitting Room Confidential.

Not gonna lie… it took every fiber in my being not to call this post “Fifty Shades of Grey”. But honestly, I figured you all deserved something better than that. So I resisted, and now I’m really craving chicken piccata for some reason.
In outfit-related news: I can’t tell you how glamorous I felt in this getup. Believe it or not, I came this close to tossing this cape not too long ago because I hardly ever wore it. That was until I spotted these elbow-length gloves on sale for $5 at Uniqlo! They add exactly the right touch of drama. And since then, this topper has become my new favorite thing.
