The following information will perhaps cause you to clutch your pearls, buuuuut… truth be told, I’m not that crazy about the color purple and don’t have much of it in my wardrobe. Now red and blue, I can totally rock with. But I’ve just never been able to muster up much excitement for the color purple (aside from the movie and Broadway musical – the book was a little too heavy for me). In any case, I’m slowly coming around to it – especially when I recently found this gorgeous wool coat for fall. I decided that if I’m going to give purple a shot this season, I may as well go all in and commit with a major wardrobe staple. Once I paired it with yellow accessories (and freakin’ LOVED the way it looked), I knew I was finally coming around to it.
