If there’s one print that just screams summer, it’s gingham. As soon as I spotted this dress at Old Navy, I knew I had to have it. It’s so effortless and classic that I just couldn’t resist. I threw it on over the weekend with red accessories for a stroll through the park with the family and felt perfectly cool and put together.
About the Fit:
This maxi dress fits true-to-size and hits just above the ankle on my 5’7″ frame. I tend to like my maxi dresses to almost sweep the floor for a more dramatic look and considered going with a tall. Unfortunately, it was sold out in my size. In any case, this length makes it a cinch to wear with flats, so I’m not too upset. I love that it has adjustable straps and a smocked elastic backing which means a more custom fit and plenty of stretch to accommodate a large bust.
