I had been eying the first jacket on Overstock for quite some time. It’s made by Miss Sixty and usually retails anywhere from $100-150. I’ve placed it in my cart a few times, but could never really justify the “need” for a studded trench coat. That all changed when I walked into Square One inside the Mall of Manhattan and saw the exact same jacket on sale for $39.99!
Holy Discount, Batman!
So, I did what any self-respecting recessionista would do under these circumstances: I justified the purchase of a second trench coat, also for $39.99. The second coat is by Donatella. I’m not sure what the original retail price was, but this piece is very well-made, fully lined, and the material has a nice weight to it that will definitely hold up in the rain.
All in all, even if I don’t get the deal in Jersey, I still got a great steal. And that makes me one happy camper.
