Guys, I’ve been so focused on my wardrobe for the past two weeks that I completely forgot something very important…
Thanksgiving Dinner!
What the heck?! I usually obsess over my menu for weeks at a time, trying out recipes here and there, up until the big day finally arrives.
This year, I’ve done absolutely nada! To be quite honest, I’m a little shocked.
Not to worry, I’ve got a few tried-and-true turkey recipes in the arsenal, and I also grabbed the latest copy of Food Network Magazine just in case I want to try something new. I expect to have my menu all planned out before I go to bed this evening.
And what about you all? What are your plans for Thanksgiving this year? Any special recipes you think I should try? As I said, I love food, so I’m all ears (and mouth… and nose… and stomach)!

from the very first picture i was in love…i love a mary jane! those shoes are fantastic! 🙂
LOL I also am not on my game this year – between my baby and blogging I am so last minute – just chose my menu yesterday!
I’m so glad I don’t have to worry about cooking much for Thanksgiving! I usually get to make pie, which is my favorite anyway. Tried a persimmon pie this year that turned out pretty good.
I love this outfit and how you styled the sleek suit with a more laid-back plaid shirt, which looks great on you. Also, drooling over those yummy shoes.
OMG PANTSSSSSSSSS!! I love this outfit, and it looks totally you! Sometimes when I wear pants I feel like… it doesn’t look like me… yeah I’m not making any sense today, must still be that migraine, just ignore me. Buy anyway, I love it, and Thanksgiving krept up on me too this year, I can’t believe it will be December next week…
I feel the same way when I wear pants. In fact, I wore this outfit to a party that night, and I felt a little strange lol. I think it’s all in our heads.
I love this outfit so so much..I might steal the look. I hope that’s okay. It’s better than my sneaking into your closet and actually stealing the clothes, right?
Hmm, Thanksgiving dinner isn’t really a huge thing in my family. I’ve actually never had turkey at any sort of holiday dinner! But I’m definitely looking forward to pumpkin pie.
Steal away! The look… not my clothes 🙂 ‘Cuz then we’d have a major problem, lol!
Love this look – so tailored and lady-like!
