Folks, what you see here is a woman on a mission… I am absolutely determined to squeeze in all of my summer finery before the season ends!
Luckily, the weather’s been cooperating nicely. This was the perfect outfit to slip into on a hot, steamy summer afternoon. Floaty and lightweight, with just the right touch of sweetness, I felt like I should be sitting on a porch somewhere sipping lemonade and fanning myself. Since there aren’t many porches in Manhattan, I made due with a mimosa and air conditioning in one of my favorite soul food restaurants… mmm mmm good!
Ok, you look super-chic in this bellissima dress. And I know I couldn’t do so. I have so much to learn.
Thanks! I wasn’t so sure that I could pull this dress offf either at first. It originally had a lacy Victorian style collar that just didn’t work for me. A few snips with my magic scissors, and… Voila!
This is beautiful and you look great as always! Love your accessories too. That’s a really good idea in your comment about snipping off the lacy victorian collar. Thanks!
you look so comfy! ahhhh.
